Programme Overview:

SIOM, in collaboration with the Durham University Business School, UK (a Triple Crown-accredited institution), is offering a M.B.A.(Operations Management) and MSc Management (Supply Chain and Logistics).

Durham is ranked the world's top 100 University since 2010 and 64th in the world for Employer Reputation.

This initiative marks a strategic step in SIOM's globalisation roadmap, aligned with the vision to nurture globally competent, ethically grounded, and innovation-driven leaders in operations and supply chain domains.

The programme will provide students with global exposure and offer future-ready learning opportunities. It will equip them with the emerging practices in International Operations and SCM, combining an understanding of Indian industry dynamics with a European and global supply chain perspective.

The dual degree programme includes two semesters of study in India and two semesters at Durham. Semesters 1 and 4 will be at SIOM, and Semesters 2 and 3 will be at Durham.

Students get degrees from two prominent institutions. They will possess a global outlook, understanding cross-border supply chain strategies. They gain exposure to a multi-cultural environment, coupled with advanced analytical, digital, and leadership skills.

Objective of the Programme

SIOM’s vision of "Empowering Operations Excellence" is delivered through a programme that builds strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities in professionals. The dual degree management programme equips professionals with the skills to design, manage, and improve operations and international supply chain systems, while fostering an integrated understanding of their linkages with other business functions. The focus is on learning in global environments and applying advanced tools and interdisciplinary knowledge to solve real-world operational challenges sustainably and effectively through global exposure.

Eligibility Criteria: (Including Category)

  • For SIOM Eligibility:

    SIOM Candidate should be an engineering graduate (BE/ B Tech of any stream) from a statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in their qualifying examination. A candidate who has completed a qualification from any foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  • Appear for GE-PI (Group Exercise & Personal Interview)
  • Receive Offer of Admission (SIOM + Durham)
  • Complete the Transfer Process before the Durham semester commencement
