Programme:
The ADMM Programme at SIOM will meet the techno-Managerial competency needs of the Manufacturing sector. The Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing Management is being offered as a full time non-residential 12 months (one year) course as a fast track module to qualify the graduate engineers to be potential manufacturing managers. It will be a great opportunity for graduate engineers with or without experience who miss opportunity to pursue MBA to advance their career in manufacturing sector. The programme will provide knowledge and understanding of the tools, techniques and methodologies to improve manufacturing management performance within the over all perspective of the business and understanding of the modern initiatives to leverage manufacturing management performance for global competitive advantage.
Objective:
· To provide basic understanding of the principles and processes of business management covering streams such as Marketing, Manufacturing, HRM and Finance.
· To provide knowledge and understanding of the modern initiatives to leverage manufacturing management performance for global competitive advantage.
· To include the managerial skills needed to manage manufacturing operations in relation to the technology, systems and people.
· To create ability to address strategic and operations issues of the manufacturing sector with the special focus of productivity, quality, cost and speed.
· The programme will facilitate development of diverse skill sets needed by the manufacturing sector such as creativity, analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making, communication, leadership and performance management.
