Academic PGDBM
SIOM's vision of "Empowering Operations Excellence" shall be achieved by delivering Managerial Competencies of broad based knowledge, multi-disciplinary skills and positive attitude to industrial and business sectors on sustainable basis.
The PGDBM course objectives are:
1. To impart Management Education to working executives.
2. To develop Fundamental understanding of managerial decision making processes amongst working executives for broad based knowledge and creative thinking.
3. To provide supportive learning environment to working executives unable to enroll for full time management courses and hone their managerial skill sets.
The Programme outcome would be:
a. Knowledge & Understanding: Detailed knowledge of Fundamental principles, essential facts and modern techniques of management along the various functions and decision making processes.
b. Intellectual & thinking skills: Plan, organize, implement and control the various management processes. To be creative and research oriented in problem solving
c. Practical skills & transferable skills: Analyze information by using various quantitative techniques. Effective communication for oral and technical presentations, Team working and project designing.

Bachelor's Degree from any Statutory University
OR
Three years Diploma (post HSC) awarded by BTE of any state government / central government with minimum one year post diploma experience.
